Go and Tell!
Luke 2:8-17

Verse: “Then the shepherds told everyone what had happened and what the angel had said to them about this child.” —Luke 2:17

Devotion: The shepherds were an unlikely choice to be the first to hear of Jesus’ birth. By the world’s standards, they were not important men. They had nothing of value to bring the newborn King. And yet, their response to the news of the Savior is a wonderful example for all of us. First, they believed the word the angel told them, and they immediately went to worship the Savior. Next, the Bible says they told everyone the news about Jesus.

As we celebrate Christmas today, let us follow the example of the shepherds—believing, worshiping, and sharing His truth with others. Merry Christmas!

Pray: Dear God, thank you for this Christmas Day, as we celebrate the coming of Christ. Help us share the message of Jesus with everyone.
