Books on CD

Josh McDowell’s books are well known around the world for helping people understand why the Bible contains an accurate historical record, and how the Bible explains God’s desire to have a personal relationship with each person through Jesus Christ. These books have helped millions of people accept Christ as Savior and know why their faith in Christ is absolutely solid regardless of their circumstances.

Research from countries as diverse as Mexico, China, the United States and Poland shows that young people – even Christian young people around the world – do not understand why the Bible is the absolute Truth, the Word of God, and can always be relied on, regardless of culture, viewpoint and personal opinion.

Now, more than ever before there is a need for the messages of Josh McDowell’s books. However, outside of the economically advanced world, the global use of books is limited by the cost, size and weight of book production and distribution.

The Josh McDowell Ministry plans to make the most useful of Josh’s books available to church leaders and missionaries based outside of the United States on a CD-ROM, helping them teach hundreds of Christians. This CD will equip them to raise a generation of young people who know what they believe and why they believe it so that it changes their lives.

CDs are low cost and lightweight, thus removing the main barriers to mass book distribution. A single CD-ROM can equip a pastor or missionary with some of the most influential Christian books outside of the Bible.

We have developed a CD that has 23 of Josh’s books on the subjects of Apologetics and Right From Wrong. As soon as this CD is distributed, we plan to develop a further CD that will contain about 30 books from Josh on the subject of Biblically based relationships and sexual abstinence before marriage.

Funds are needed immediately to produce an initial run of 30,000 of the first CDs, which will include the expenses to copy and ship the CDs to major international mission organizations and churches for distribution.
