** Please be aware that the following positions are not salaried positions, but rather are missionary staff positions.  Each person is responsible for raising full financial support through building a base of supporters who regularly contribute to the Campus Crusade for Christ staff account to provide a monthly income.  Most of the positions will require you to work from our office located in Plano, Texas, just 15 miles north of Dallas.


VP of Global Media (Missionary Staff)

Great Commission-minded, self-starting, results- oriented, seasoned executive to develop and lead a team of media specialists in creating and delivering media tools and products to enhance the ministry capacity and meet the needs of JMM’s ministry partners. In addition to being a problem-solver and organizer who can work in a team setting, this individual will be responsible to raise support and maintain his or her own ministry partner team. 

VP of Global Events (Missionary Staff)

Great Commission-minded, self-starting, results- oriented, seasoned executive to lead and manage a team of specialists who plan, schedule, coordinate, manage, and support JMM events around the world, including those where Josh McDowell is the featured speaker. The team includes specialists responsible for sales and marketing of JMM resources at events and on the Internet. In addition to possessing problem solving and organizational skills, this individual must be capable of leading strategy development for marketing and events in North America. The individual will be responsible to raise support and maintain his or her own ministry partner team. 

Executive Administrative Assistant  (Missionary Staff)

Experienced administrative assistant for the Ministry’s CEO, with skills in scheduling, travel planning, documenting meetings, record keeping, composing documents, word processing, reporting, tracking, filing, and small project management. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint would be an advantage. A person with a great sense of humor, creativity, initiative, and patience will thrive in this very important position. In addition to being well-organized and able to work with a minimum of supervision, the executive assistant will be responsible to raise support and maintain his or her own ministry partner team. This position is based in JMM’s Plano, Texas office. 

Human Resources Specialist (Missionary Staff)

HR professional to oversee the human resources function for Josh McDowell Ministry, encouraging the professional, spiritual, and personal development of all staff members.  The successful candidate will enjoy working with people--recruiting, orienting, counseling, training, and caring for the JMM staff team, including staff working outside the Dallas, Texas office.  The HR Specialist will organize and maintain the HR function, in part by paying meticulous attention to detail.  This important staff leader will be an effective communicator in both writing and speaking, applying effective problem-solving and good listening skills in both independent and team efforts.  The HR Specialist will be responsible to raise support and maintain his or her own ministry partner team. 

Information Technology Associate (Missionary Staff)

IT professional --who enjoys working with people and communicates well—to assist the IT Manager in providing IT support services to JMM staff –especially staff who work off-site. Proficiencies needed: MS Office Suite, MS Outlook, the care and repair of personal computers and related hardware, and the ability to provide training to other professionals. This person will be willing to travel occasionally, provide help desk support to users, support basic home office networking with wireless technology, and serve as a resource to staff for best computer practices. In addition to being a problem-solver who can work independently, the IT Associate will be responsible to raise support and maintain his or her own ministry partner team. 

Finance Associate (Missionary Staff)

Experienced accountant or bookkeeper to assist the Finance Manager by handling basic finance functions: accounts payable; accounts receivable; receiving, recording and banking cash receipts; basic analyses; photocopying and scanning; filing; and other small projects. This person will enjoy working with numbers and with people--and will possess a sense of humor, give meticulous attention to details, and demonstrate the ability to organize work and stay organized.  In addition to being a problem-solver who can work independently, the Finance Associate will be responsible to raise support and maintain his or her own ministry partner team. This position is based in the international office of JMM in Plano, Texas. 

Social Network Ministry Designer/Manager (Missionary Staff)

Gifted and skilled project manager to upgrade, develop, and expand the social networking ministry of the Josh McDowell Ministry by handling all aspects of this exciting outreach opportunity. This person will be responsible to develop technical elements, manipulate existing content, and manage social capital necessary to promote the resources of JMM via the internet. The objective is to support the mission of serving others with the Gospel message on the JMM website and other websites as the program unfolds, using channels such as Facebook, MySpace, YouTube, and Josh Blogs. The candidate should possess web-design skills using software such as HTML, DHTML, Adobe/Macromedia Flash Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and more.

In addition to possessing problem-solving and organizational skills, this person will be detail oriented. The person selected for this position will be responsible to raise support and maintain his or her own ministry partner team. 

US Publishing Director (Missionary Staff)

Seasoned project manager with applicable publishing experience to initiate, organize, and manage all JMM relations with U.S. publishers. This individual will focus primarily on producing ministry resources in North America -–resources which may eventually be translated into and adapted for many languages around the world. This person will provide strong leadership for helping to bring new products to market as well as coordinate the revision and updating of existing JMM resources. In addition to being a self-starting problem-solver and organizer who can work in a team setting, the representative will be responsible to raise support and maintain his or her own ministry partner team. 

Contract Administrator (Missionary Staff)

Conscientious, detail-focused administrator to administer all Josh McDowell Ministry international publishing contracts -- from the point of first contact to the conclusion of each publishing partnership. The position requires organizing all paper and electronic records with the objective of storing all records electronically and creating new contracts via the internet. An important duty will be the tracking and collection of royalties. The candidate should possess strong organizational skills and office experience and be able to work both in a team setting and independently. The person selected for this position will be responsible to raise support and maintain his or her own ministry partner team. 

Global Outreach Customer Representative -- Africame (Missionary Staff)

Ministry-minded, customer-focused, traveling representative for JMM in Africa and the Middle East. Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience and skill in project management, communicating vision, listening, analysis, creative solutions, strategic thinking, and budgeting. The successful candidate will be a highly effective communicator both in speaking and writing. Proficiency in other languages would be helpful. Excellent people skills will be an asset and basic computer skills are required. Cross-cultural experience and understanding of cultural anthropology—especially in relation to the developing church globally-- will be an advantage. The position requires the willingness to study and be able to clearly present JMM’s global vision and all of the ministry’s resources. It also requires an attitude of service, listening for needs, and developing partnerships rather than a “We-have-all-the-answers” approach. In addition to being a problem-solver and an organizer who can work independently, the representative will be responsible to raise support and maintain his or her own ministry partner team. 

Global Outreach Customer Representative -- Americas (Missionary Staff)

Customer Service Representative (Missionary Staff)

A ministry-minded person with a servant’s heart to serve, assist and help people who wish to acquire JMM resources. This person will represent the ministry to customers with problems or questions about acquiring resources either through JMM events or via the website. The representative will demonstrate careful listening skills, attention to detail, ability to follow up, and resolve problems. Excellent people skills, courtesy, and effective communication skills are important requirements. Proficiency in handling phone calls and communicating by email are essential. The ability to learn new software applications, enter and track financial transactions, and understand the basics of internet product sale transactions would be very useful.  In addition to being a problem-solver and organizer who can work independently, the representative will be responsible to raise support and maintain his or her own ministry partner team.  

Traveling Intern (Missionary Staff)

The Josh McDowell Ministry needs an energetic, mission-minded, male intern to travel with Josh throughout the United States and internationally. The typical internship lasts 9-12 months. 

The Traveling Intern will serve as Josh’s primary assistant “on the road,” performing a wide variety of functions such as: running PowerPoint presentations when Josh speaks, assisting with resources sales, printing, copying, mailing, and handling travel logistics (airport check-ins, car rentals, etc.). This is an exciting and fast-paced position. The intern will meet many influential people and be expected to represent Josh and the ministry in a professional manner. 

The intern will demonstrate effective communication skills – both verbally and in writing. He should be detail-oriented, ready to use his strong computer skills – particularly in MS PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word, and generally be tech-savvy. As a creative problem-solver, part of his job will be do research for Josh during and between trips.

The intern will also possess the heart of a servant and the desire to help Josh maximize ministry opportunities as he travels the globe. The Traveling Intern will be responsible to raise the support needed to cover his expenses as an intern.
