Who We’re Looking For:
A strategic leader with a passion for advancing Cru and Josh McDowell Ministry’s mission by cultivating and growing a sustainable base of financial partners. The ideal candidate excels in leading teams, building relationships, and driving data-informed fundraising efforts.
Summary of Position:
The Vice President of Development leads a dynamic Development Team to execute fundraising strategies across all donor segments such as general file, mid-level, major donor, and legacy giving programs. This role ensures the ministry has the necessary resources to sustain and expand its impact.
The Kind of Work You’ll be Doing:
- Develop and lead the execution of a comprehensive annual fundraising plan, including revenue and expense projections across all giving segments.
- Evaluate and optimize all fundraising initiatives (general giving, mid-level, major donors, monthly partners, peer-to-peer, events, etc.), ensuring strong ROI and alignment with JMM’s mission and brand.
- Drive growth through donor acquisition, retention, and elevation strategies, utilizing data-driven approaches to develop sustainable revenue.
- Build and strengthen relationships with major donors, casting vision for JMM and stewarding donor engagement.
- Oversee data-driven fundraising operations, ensuring the effective use of CRM systems and donor analytics.
- Partner with the marketing and content team to align fundraising messaging and donor engagement strategies.

We seek a skilled Senior Digital Marketing Specialist with advanced experience managing multi-channel digital platforms, including websites, social media, podcasts, email, video editing, and analytics. The ideal candidate is passionate about learning and optimizing digital channels to equip and encourage Christians.
Summary of Position:
Reporting to the Vice President of Content, the Senior Digital Marketing Specialist will oversee content development across all digital platforms for Josh McDowell Ministry. This role requires expertise in SEO best practices and the ability to enhance both existing and emerging digital strategies.
The Kind of Work You’ll be Doing:
- Lead content strategy across all digital channels in collaboration with VP of Content
- Ensure all marketing initiatives are executed on schedule in collaboration with Senior Project Manager
- Create content and manage platforms for website, email, and social media channels
- Manage editorial processes from submission to publishing for content across all digital channels
- Film and edit video content with advanced video editing techniques
- Lead digital marketing analytics gathering efforts and present a monthly deck to key stakeholders
- Lead SEO data collection and present recommendations monthly
